No worries, its normal. But heavy memory problems aren’t normal. A decline in memory, language difficulties and problems with in other thinking skills are affected by dementia. Dementia is an overall term for diseases affecting brain cells. The most common cause of dementia is Alzheimer.

 

Did you know that 1 out of 5 people worldwide gets symptoms of this? More than half of the people knows a person suffering from Alzheimer.

 

Unfortunately, there is no treatment yet and this needs to change. More research is necessary in order to find a solution! 100% of your donation will be used for scientific research for dementia in the Alzheimer center Amsterdam located in VU Medical Center.

 

Alzheimer center Amsterdam is a diagnostic- and treatment center for dementia, with its focus on dementia on young ages. Currently, more than 120 employees are working in the center. Yearly, thousands of patients from the whole country are getting a treatment. Besides taking care of the patients, the employees of Alzheimer center are spending a big part of their time on the scientific research.
